What are Rad or Sad Bucks?
Rad or Sad Bucks are the official in-podcast currency of Rad or Sad. Do they have any real world value? No, none at all. Can we use them to buy Rad or Sad merch? Unfortunately, no, we need actual money to live. Can you use them to buy stuff at your favorite local business? Unless they really don't want to stay open, we would imagine not.
So what can you do with Rad or Sad Bucks, how do you get them, and how can you cash them in?? Excellent questions.

What you can do with Rad or Sad Bucks:
You can use them on a number of things! Our current list includes:
This is the list we have as of now, but we're definitely open to more ideas! If you have something else you think you should be able to spend Rad or Sad Bucks on (not merch, sorry), then please let us know! The easiest ways to get ahold of us are DMs on socials or via email.
- Shoutouts = Either 3 or 4 Bucks
- For three (3) Rad or Sad Bucks, we'll give you or whoever else (no war criminals or otherwise terrible people) a shoutout on the 'cast, but we will be mean to you in said shoutout.
- For four (4) Rad or Sad Bucks, we'll give you or whoever else (same rules apply) a shoutout, but we'll be nice to you.
- We Read Anything (Not Bad) = 10 Bucks
- For ten (10) Rad or Sad Bucks, you can send us a short script of anything you want, and we will read it on the 'cast! Once again, if it's something terrible, we won't read it (obviously).
- Audience Choose Topic = 30 Bucks
- For thirty (30) big whopperoonies, you can choose the topic for an episode. Now, the operative word here is "choose," because Raddies and Saddies are always welcome to suggest topics, but sometimes we just don't have the knowledge to do it. But, if you spend the bucks, we will be required to do the topic of your choosing. Again, we reserve the right to not talk about things that are atrocities toward mankind.

How to get bucks:
There are a few ways to get bucks, including:
- Following on Socials = 1 Buck per Platform
- If you follow/like us on our social medias (currently Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook), you get one (1) buck. You can get a buck for each platform you follow/like, and these are retroactive so anyone who has been following/liking us prior to the invention of Rad or Sad Bucks gets the earned buck(s).
- Leaving a Review = 5 Bucks
- If you review us on any podcasts platform (e.g. Apple Podcasts, Podchaser, Stitcher if that's still a thing on there), you get 5 Rad or Sad Bucks per review. And yes, that means if you review us on multiple platforms, you can get this set of bucks multiple times. These are also retroactive, so preexisting reviews get bucks.
- Sharing the Podcast = 2 Bucks
- A bit more nebulous, this one could mean a lot of things! Maybe you share the show in a groupchat with your friends, maybe you DM the show to somebody on Twitter, the options are basically endless. Just send us some sort of proof when you're cashing in (e.g. a screenshot of the text, DM, etc.), and the bucks are yours. And, it is two (2) bucks per share, so you can get these two (2) bucks multiple times as well.

To cash the bucks in, send us a message via email (radorsadpodcast@gmail.com) or DM on any of our socials. In the message, please include:
- Which thing you'd like to spend them on (e.g. shoutout, topic choice, etc.)
- Any applicable proof of how you got the bucks
- We will also double check this on our end because we're Cool and Official
